How to use “server group” feature?

Hi! There is no documentation about how to use this new feature.
I have a few questions:

1- If i choose “load balance”, and one of the servers is down, then all is redirected to the alive host, right? So it will also work similar as the “hot spare” option right?

2- do i have to config this feature in ALL of my servers? Right now i have two, and i configured both EXACTLY the same (both load balance, both including the other one on the server list, and both groups with the exactly same server group name). I did this because if i configure just one of them, then the other keep appearing on the host list in the terminals, and that is something i dont want. On the other hand, configuring this on both assures me to have allways at least one responding to the load balance polity (if i configure the feature just in the server B, and the server B is down, who is going to tell the server A is the only one to receive the client now?)

3- will you update your documentation? This is a feature i waited for long and i would like more information about it

Thank you in advance

Hello Cristianbraun, to your questions my answer as below:
1. The main server and backup server , both of them should be create the same users, then once the main server is down , the main server users will connect to the backup server.
The different of hot Spare and load balance is hot spare can setting the private server.

2. Should be vMatrix 2.4.0 version
2. We are preparing the setting document for the hot space and load balance now, once its ready I will share it to you.

Thank you so much!

One thing is not clear to me: using "load balance" mode, if one server goes down, the server group goes unavailable or is all "balanced" to the second one?

if the main server is down, should be make sure the second server ( which already added to the server group) is available, then the main server users can connect to the second servers.
