  • Onsite Demo.

If you are ready to experience the innovative way of desktop computing, we would be happy to demonstrate our solution at your site – absolutely free, with no obligation! Let us show you what this technology can do for you and discuss all the ins and outs. You can examine how it works in your place and learn about the unique features for which vCloudPoint is your first choice. If you have any questions, we’d be more than happy to answer them and work out a proposal to fit your situations.

If you request some specific software to run at end users’ virtual desktop or a specific virtualization platform instead of vCloudPoint’s, please inform ahead of the visit.

    Try it free.

The best way to see what vCloudPoint can do for you is by running the devices in your place. The trial units are exactly the same in performance as those sold in the market so that you will know in advance how they work in your place. We’ll provide you with zero clients and the required software totally free of charge, plus you get a free support session to make sure your evaluation is a success. We know you’ll love vCloudPoint, and we’re here to make you successful. But if it’s not a fit, simply return the devices and you won’t be charged.

We will ship you two sets of zero clients and the required software for evaluation. You may connect the zero clients to virtual machines running on a local server or hosted desktops in the cloud.

For testing with a local server, you are free to use any virtualization platform, either VMware vSphere, Citrix Hypervisor, Microsoft Hyper-V, Oracle VirtualBox or KVM, and the server side management software, but do not install desktop offerings from third parties, like VMware View or Citrix Desktops, which conflict with vMatrix Server Manager. Install vMatrix Server Manager inside every virtual machine and configure the network connection of the virtual machines as “bridged” for the zero clients to discover them in LAN. If you are extending a virtual machine for multiple users, you still have to create user accounts with vMatrix Server Manager and install RDP Wrapper or Remote Desktop Licensing Role in the virtual machine for simultaneous access. During performance testing, pay attention to resources usage and increase the resources (CPU, memory, storage) allocated to the virtual machine to ensure that the virtual machine is configured well enough to run related application tests. For testing connections to virtual machines in the cloud, the Wide Area Network (WAN) is also a key factor to be considered. Most of the Wide Area Networks (WAN) have excessive latency and lower bandwidth. This compromises with the rich PC-like experience over the network. Task work running document processing and web browsing consumes about 3-5 Mbps and a 720p video can take up to 15 Mbps of bandwidth. Please make sure you have a sufficient WAN connection or dedicated private network before you test vCloudPoint products over WAN.
